Rachael A. Crump

Accounting Director

Rachael A. Crump is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. She is known for her entrepreneurial spirit, grit, and perseverance. She has successfully led public corporations through digital, operational, and financial transformations. Over the course of her career, she has led over 17 global acquisitions. Through strategic acquisitions she has increased revenues, enhanced talent, acquired new products, and expanded company capabilities. Acquisitions have ranged in size from $10 million to $2.2 billion with over 90% of deals meeting or exceeding expectations and returning an additional $31 million in excess of forecasted synergies.

Rachael is currently Chief Accounting Officer of Insight Enterprises, a Fortune 500 company that specializes in the utilization of technology to provide global solutions. She leads digital finance transformation, M&A due diligence and integration across finance, corporate FP&A, and global accounting and financial reporting. She has overseen the global transformation of the company merging finance and IT to create a uniform reporting infrastructure which has increased efficiencies, enhanced compliance, and allowed for scalability to keep up with the organization’s growth. Her initiatives have helped achieve significant organic and inorganic growth, increasing annual revenue 68% from $5.49 billion in 2016 to $9.2 billion in 2023.

Rachael has a passion for accounting and finance. She started her career at Ernst & Young as an auditor focused on IPOs. She went on to hold executive roles at Medicis Pharmaceutical, Sage Group, and MedAire before serving as Senior Director and Global Controller for Amkor Technology where she played a critical role in the implementation of SAP to enhance reporting, standardize procedures, and improve efficiencies.

Rachael has served as Audit Committee Executive Liaison and Compensation Committee Contributing Executive for Insight’s board of directors. From 2022 to 2023 she was Chair of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. She served on the Joint Trial Board for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) from 2018 to 2023. Rachael values giving back and has served as a member of the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley since 2014. She has received numerous recognitions for her contributions in the boardroom and in the executive suite. In 2022 and in 2023, she was named to Women We Admire’s list of “Top 50 Leaders in Finance” and was a 5-time recipient of the Women of the Channel Award which recognizes women leaders in information technology. She was also featured in a 2020 article in Profile Magazine, titled “Being an Insightful Leader”.

Rachael received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin. She is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). She has received her National Association of Corporate Directors Certification (NACD.DC). She studied leadership at the US Military Academy at West Point as part of their Thayer Executive Leadership Academy.
